MS. EMILY rea FEAlY

is a Bay Area soprano and voice teacher specializing in vocal performance and healthy vocal technique. Her musical background spans opera, art song, musical theater, choral, and liturgical music. She earned her Associate of Arts in Music from Diablo Valley College, where she developed a strong foundation in vocal technique, piano, musicianship, and music theory. She later earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Sonoma State University, further developing her vocal artistry and interest in vocal pedagogy while continuing her piano studies.

Emily Rae creates an encouraging and supportive learning environment where students can develop healthy vocal technique, musical skills, confidence, and expressive performance. Her voice lessons incorporate musicianship, music theory, ear training, solfège, and sight-reading, helping students build a well-rounded musical foundation while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a lasting love of music.

In addition to voice, Emily Rae teaches beginning-to-intermediate piano, drawing on her collegiate piano studies and strong background in musicianship and music theory. Her piano lessons emphasize solid technical foundations, note reading, rhythm, theory, ear training, and musical expression, helping students develop both confidence and independence at the instrument.

Alongside teaching, Emily Rae remains active as a vocalist, with a particular focus on opera, vocal performance, and choral singing. Her experience as a performer brings practical insight and enthusiasm to her teaching, helping students grow into confident, expressive, and well-rounded musicians.
